Danyal Hatock — Founder & CEO
Danyal Hatock brings more than 20 years of experience delivering mega-scale developments, district energy systems and MEP engineering across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. A mechanical engineer by training (University of Jordan), he has spent his career where technical excellence meets commercial accountability.
For twelve years at Emaar Properties he served as Senior Director MEP and General Manager District Cooling, running three plants with 135,000 TR of capacity for Downtown Dubai and a team of 40–50 engineers and specialists, across landmark projects including Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina and Arabian Ranches. He went on to lead Jordan District Energy's Abdali plant in Amman, and to direct MEP operations across MENA and PMO governance in Riyadh for Meinhardt.
Since 2020 he has advised investors, developers and operators on feasibility, energy optimisation, O&M performance and utility infrastructure. He founded F&D Smart Solutions to offer that same direct, evidence-based judgement to organisations navigating growth and change across the region.
